Product Manager – End User & Debt Management

Derivative Path is looking for a creative and hands-on product manager who can help lead the development of our end user and debt management platforms. The primary responsibility will be to help us execute on our roadmap and take our product to the next level. You'll be involved in a wide range of activities, from customer research and product roadmap decisions, to designing and shipping new product features. A unique opportunity to work closely with the leadership team as well as our business and operations teams to successfully launch new product features to customers.


  • At least 2 years of product management experience with enterprise software

  • Ideal candidate will have FinTech and/or PropTech product management experience

  • Experience conducting user research, story mapping exercises, wireframing, and user engagement analytics

  • Strong project management and communication skills

  • Great at problem-solving and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done

  • Interpersonal and works effectively with cross functional teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable with data, metrics and statistical analysis

  • Empathy for customers, and passion for helping them

  • Self-starter personality and comfort with ambiguity

  • Experience with in agile based projects by planning in sprints and reviewing in standups

  • Background in documenting and scoring user stories in Jira or Trello is an asset


  • Collaborate across teams to gather product vision, strategy, development and own execution

  • Identify customer pain points, provide solutions and develop product roadmaps

  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes

  • Be accountable for product delivery, unblock team members, and ship value

  • Write requirements and prioritize user stories

  • Conduct user research and organize all inbound product feedback from potential clients and clients

  • Validate product hypotheses and sponsor research projects

  • Continually improve the product and team by seeking opportunities to mature functionality and processes

  • Partner with developers to breakdown product requirements into stories and provide functional requirements/acceptance criteria
