Derivative Path and Goldman Sachs Transaction Banking were named winners of the Best Alliance or Partnership category at the 2023 WatersTechnology Sell-Side Technology Awards, published in April 2023 by WatersTechnology.
The Sell-Side Technology Awards are editorially judged by the WatersTechnology team, recognizing technology innovation, product excellence, and strategic partnerships that drive measurable impact across sell-side capital markets operations.
The recognized partnership addressed a structural gap facing regional and community banks: the difficulty of offering FX and international payments capabilities to commercial clients at scale. By combining Derivative Path’s cloud-based derivatives and FX platform with Goldman Sachs Transaction Banking infrastructure, the partnership enabled financial institutions to move international activity from a cost-center legacy process to a competitive, client-facing revenue capability.
